Chris Thomas FCII, Chartered FCIPD

Chris has had a multi facetted career working in the financial services sector in the UK and in South Africa . He is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

He has worked in the areas of sales, account management, marketing and other customer facing roles before specialising in HR. In 2003 he was a Director member of a MBO team who, with the support of private equity providers, purchased the healthcare and assistance business of Royal & SunAlliance and formed the FirstAssist Group. He left this business early in 2007 following its successful de-merger. He draws fully on this experience in working with client businesses.

He has a comprehensive understanding of what drives business performance and a keen sense of how HRM can contribute to wealth generation. He has had considerable exposure to a broad spectrum of HRM challenges in the corporate and SME sector.
